En todo momento y en todo lugar encontraremos distracciones. Quizá nuestro celular, las redes sociales, nuestra mascota, sobrinos, hijos, etc., y esto puede hacer que el tiempo de trabajo se nos haga más largo, o perdamo concentración.
Lo ideal es hacer una planificación y seguirla al pie de la letra, lo más que puedas, mentalizarte que el tiempo programado es 100% para hacer el trabajo que planificaste. Procura cerrar todas las ventanas del navegador que no tengan relación con la tarea que haces en ese momento, abstenerte de responder mensajes o atender llamadas y procura buscar nn lugar en donde no visible.
Técnica Pomodoro
La técnica Pomodoro consiste en usar un temporizador para dividir el trabajo en bloques de 25 minutos, donde te encuentres totalmente enfocada, y separados por breves descansos de 5 minutos. Después de cuatro bloques de tiempo consecutivos puede tomar un descanso más largo, de entre 25 y 30 minutos.
Los beneficios y motivación de esta técnica consisten en los descansos frecuentes, que ayudan mantener la mente fresca. En ese receso puede distraerse platicando con tus compañeros, leer un artículo no relacionado con el trabajo o ver un vídeo.
Al principio, mientras que tu cerebro se acostumbra a trabajar por bloques, puede utilizar un temporizador y que suene la alarma cada 25 minutos.
