How to organize your time at work?

One day of Work can be very different from one another. From planning to the unexpected events that may arise along the way. But the truth is, it depends on how we approach that day to achieve our goals and be productive in what we do.

One of the keys is to be able to organize our days of job with some tools that help us keep everything under control, or at least each activity very well defined so that we keep it in mind tasks, being able to identify priorities, and above all being able to have an overview of what we do.

Therefore, keep in mind the following tips:

  • Plan your day, preferably the day before.
  • Do one task at a time. If you start a task, try to finish it, and avoid multitasking as much as possible.
  • Rest your mind. Take active breaks.
  • Delegate the most operational tasks if possible.
  • Distribute tasks. If a task seems impossible to manage, break it down into smaller tasks, one day at a time. If you're being pushed too hard, be upfront about the time it will take to complete the task; it will help minimize stress.
  • Plan your meals, your mealtimes are sacred, remember that if you get sick it will be worse.
  • Set schedules for household chores.

When we get organized, we procrastinate less, even on important tasks, because we avoid being distracted by other, less important activities; we end up having much more time because we're not racing against the clock.

In conclusion, maintaining order in the different areas of your life allows you to stay calm and lead a healthy, quality life. A planner, whether physical or virtual, is your best friend for productivity; it's the key to achieving great goals.

Good luck!
