The best way to organize our time at Christmas
We always have thousands of things on our minds at Christmas: gifts, meals, get-togethers, decorations, etc. In this article, we'll share some helpful tips to help you stay organized:
- Always have a ToDo List, your planner, or just a piece of paper handy to write down things you need to do, and always check it.
- Learn to be realistic with your time. You must say no to things you don't know you can't achieve. Organize your calendar with family plans, work meetings, commitments, shopping, etc.
- Keep a list of just the gifts you want to give, and the amount or budget you want to invest in those gifts or favors. Remember that if you're on a budget, you can also invest in materials to make the favors yourself. You'll save money and your loved ones will also receive something made by your own hands.
- With meals, organize the important dishes you need to prepare for the celebrations and also don't forget to set aside a budget for the "other days of the month" when you also need to eat. Review the recipes so you don't have to search for ingredients at the last minute.
- Plan which days you're going to set aside for shopping. Try to block out a few weeks before important dates like the 24th and 31st to optimize your time.
Happy Holidays!
