I don't know when you were born, but in my time—I was born in the 80s—it was super cool to have a notebook to write down your favorite songs from your favorite artists. I remember my friends and I had a notebook with the lyrics of our favorite songs, along with the choruses, and it was super fun! It was a moment you could take to connect with those beautiful songs you loved, then share them with your friends, and best of all, sing them together and learn them.

In my time there were CDs that came with the songs and the lyrics, which made it super interesting because when you were listening to the CD you could write down or read the song and repeat it as many times as you wanted until you learned it.

At AcrossTheWorldPlanner, we would love to hear from you if you like this idea or if it still appeals to you. Today Google celebrates Mexican Mariachi Day. I don't know if it has happened to you, but sometimes when you go to or see a mariachi band, you don't know the name of the song you like (you know, you just hum it). It would be fun to have a notebook or planner where you can write down the entire list of songs you like, for example!
